" Keeping in mind our Mother Tongue "

To start, Mother Tongue ??? uhmm .. not so familiar word for me but when i make a researched on that i found out that i had already the answer in my mind because i am using it everyday of my life. Mother tongue is also called as our native language.

Here in Vigan, our own dialect is Y loco, which we are using in our conversation to other people who is from also in our place and to communicate with others.

Why do we need to keep or bear in mind our mother tongue ??? I guess we really need to keep those in mind and think hundred times before we say something that can hurt the feelings of others. In different places they had also their own dialect that we should respect it, if we want that others will respect us we should be show respect to them.

In some ways, our dialect may be familiar in other place because it is the same as it is in us but we have different meaning. Other dialect of us may be good for us when we heard those but in other places does not.

So if we go to other places. Let us keep in min our mother tongue and learn to communicate also with them using their language that both of you can understand.. I can say i am really proud that i am a citizen here in Bantay ..

"Equal Rights, Equal Oppurtunities"

By this time, we are all accepted by who we are and what we are . Wherein every human being has the right to be born. In fact, we are have many rights since we where born. But we should always bear in mind that if we have our rights we have also responsilbilities.

They say " Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities Progress all " and it is very true. Why? Simply because we are in democratic country where every human being is accepted whether they have different gender but still they had the right to live and to be treat as human and to be respect.

If there is an equal treatment here in our country . A treatment without specialization . I might say that this country will become progressive. It can also lessen criticisms because they can able to show the world what they got without a special treatment.

"Responding to Climate Change"

Climate Change is a significant and lasting change in the statistical distribution of weather patterns over periods ranging from decades to million years. It may be a change in average weather conditions or the distribution of events around it. Climate Change may be limited to a specific region or may occur across the whole Earth. It also response in the global energy balance.
The following are some information about climate change:
Factors that can shape climate are called climate forcing or " forcing mechanisms ". These includes solar radiation, deviations in the Earth's orbit, mountain building and in continental drift. Forcing Mechanisms can be either internal or external. Internal forcing are natural processes with in the climate system itself while the external forcing mechanisms can be either natural or anthropogenic. The natural includes the increased emissions of greenhouse gases.
Internal forcing mechanisms include ocean variability. There are 5 components of Earth's climate change - ATMOSPHERE< HYDROSPHERE CRYOSPHERE, LITHOSPHERE and BIOSPHERE. Hereare some examples of external forcing mechanisms - orbital variations, solar output, volcanism, plate tectonics and human influences.

So, let us be responsible enough for the coming generation. :))

"Promoting Digital Literacy Through English Proficiency"

As of now, we are now surrounded with many hi-technologies.

Technologies such as computers, cellphones etc. are contributing a lot in our lives in promoting digital literacy. It is because we can many things to enhance our English grammar skills. Truly, skills are being developed when we learn how to operate the computers. It may also give us relaxation during our free time, in that, we can communicate our friends and even our relatives outside the country.

Digital Literacy is a requirement in all universities around the entire world. It is also a big help for us students and even teachers. But we should be first digital literate in order to do this things.

"Chemergy: Chemistry and Science Club in Synergy"

We all know that we are now facing a new era of our lives because of technologies.
Ilocos Sur National High School celebrated the Science month with the theme "Chemergy: Chemistry and Science Club in Synergy". Many students participated in all the activities during the Science month.

Chemistry is called to be the study of matter, but how can we also define the meaning of synergy? It is the process of combining two or more things to produce a newly improved product.

Therefore, we should not forget the 3R's--REDUCE REUSE RECYCLE. In that simple way we can help our country to be more progress ..

"My Teacher, My Second Hero"

A true hero should work without turning any return. He must be a role model to anyone not just in school but also in our society. He must be willing to accept any challenges in his life and all the possible consequences. He must have fear in God. He must also show respect to others as he respect himself.
My first hero is my mother, so I treat my teachers as my second hero. They have done many sacrifices for us. They shared their knowledge among us student. They may get hurt but still they keep on teaching us. They  are also our second parent because they help us to be able to mold our personalities.
In our daily lives, we must think the things that our teachers had done for us. They participated a lot for us to have a better future someday. So, we must be proud of them and we must be always thankful to have them in our lives because without them WE ARE NOTHING IN THE FUTURE ...
Let us show to all our teachers that we love them and we value them in out lives. We should appreciates every single piece of their efforts. As I face my everyday lives I will always be proud of my teachers wherever I may go.

"My Mom is my Hero"

Being a hero wasn't easy job. Sometimes, they might get tired, hurt and even they will give up being a hero. A hero must be wise. He must be alert at all times. but how do we define a real hero? Isn't  a hero like Batman, Superman? or Isn't a celebrity? or a member of the family itself.

For me, of course, I defined a hero like my mom. Why? Simply because SHE is a great supplier of all our needs, SHE is always there for me even though she's not around with us. I treat her as the HERO OF THE FAMILY because SHE is the one who is paying our bills in our house. SHE is working for us just to supply our needs. Sometimes, she may feel down but she still keeps on going forward for our future. That's why MY MOM IS OUR HERO =)).

It is  been expected that the Philippine President  PNoy will report to his BOSSES what he and his cabinet members had done from the past one year of administering the country.

He mentioned that past administration wherein there are lots of corruption that had been happened. He also mentioned what he had been said to the country on his previous State of the Nation Address---about the WANG-

"Isulong ang BREASTFEEDING TAMA, SAPAT at EKSKLUSIBO

Breastfeeding is more essential for the baby's health and growth that other milk that we can buy to the department stores.
At first, when a mother is having her first time to have a baby, it may be painful.
Some of the mothers, they don't use breastfeeding because they want the easier way to fed their babies but they didn't think that breastfeeding is more nutritious because it contains calcium and even the COLOSTRUM while the milk in can have many chemicals on it.
If I'm going to have a baby someday, I will choose the best way to fed my baby and that's BREASTFEEDING. I am also a fruit of BREASTFEED but when my mother went abroad, she insisted my grandmother to use ANCHOR...
