Climate Change is a significant and lasting change in the statistical distribution of weather patterns over periods ranging from decades to million years. It may be a change in average weather conditions or the distribution of events around it. Climate Change may be limited to a specific region or may occur across the whole Earth. It also response in the global energy balance.
The following are some information about climate change:
Factors that can shape climate are called climate forcing or " forcing mechanisms ". These includes solar radiation, deviations in the Earth's orbit, mountain building and in continental drift. Forcing Mechanisms can be either internal or external. Internal forcing are natural processes with in the climate system itself while the external forcing mechanisms can be either natural or anthropogenic. The natural includes the increased emissions of greenhouse gases.
Internal forcing mechanisms include ocean variability. There are 5 components of Earth's climate change - ATMOSPHERE< HYDROSPHERE CRYOSPHERE, LITHOSPHERE and BIOSPHERE. Hereare some examples of external forcing mechanisms - orbital variations, solar output, volcanism, plate tectonics and human influences.
So, let us be responsible enough for the coming generation. :))
